Last weekend, Emma and I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part I) on our big date night. I do understand that Harry Potter is being talked about everywhere now, and I'm sorry to continue the trend.

But.

We are going to the movies to see it tomorrow, and have dinner and stuff, and we're actually getting babysitters (read: Emma's parents). It's like a big date!

 AICN says there's a very good chance that the final Harry Potter film will be split into two parts, like the final Matrix films.  I'm of two minds on this.  1) There's a better chance they'll get more of the book into the two part movie if they shoot it this way, so that's cool.  But, 2) I really don't like the two film approach in general.  I'm a ( Read more... )

Yesterday, we went with some friends to see Order of the Phoenix.  How did I think the movie held up?
